# Third-Party Licenses & Attributions

MedPod GP is a proprietary product of CloudKites Pty Ltd (see `LICENSE.md`). It
bundles or downloads the third-party AI models and software components listed below,
each used under its own license. The notices in this file are provided to comply
with those licenses and are part of the MedPod GP End-User License Agreement. These
attributions must be retained.

MedPod GP does **not** modify the third-party models' architectures; the models are
run for inference and, where noted, quantized for on-device efficiency. Where a
license requires that modifications be indicated, quantization and format conversion
for on-device use are the only changes made.

### Attribution notes

- **MedGemma.** HAI-DEF is provided under and subject to the Health AI Developer
  Foundations Terms of Use found at
  https://developers.google.com/health-ai-developer-foundations/terms. MedGemma is a
  HAI-DEF model. Your use of MedGemma in MedPod GP is subject to those terms,
  including their use restrictions. In MedPod GP 3.0 the 4-bit (Q4_K_M) weights and
  the vision encoder (projector) are repacked, unmodified apart from quantization,
  into one `.nbq` file together with the model's tokenizer.
- **Qwen** models (Qwen3.5 4B and 2B, Qwen3-ASR 0.6B) © Alibaba Cloud, licensed
  under the **Apache License 2.0**. The Qwen3.5 weights are 4-bit (Q4_K_M) and,
  like Qwen3-ASR, repacked into one `.nbq` file each with the model's tokenizer.

Each model is downloaded as quantized weights within MedPod GP's self-contained
bundle format, into the user's local models folder, and is used for on-device
inference only.

The previous edition, **MedPod GP 2.0** (Windows), also used **Qwen3.5 0.8B**
(Alibaba Cloud, Apache License 2.0) to shorten long inputs.

Qt 6 is used under the LGPL-3.0: it is dynamically linked, and the user may replace
the Qt runtime libraries. FFmpeg is used under the LGPL-2.1+. The NVIDIA CUDA/cuDNN
runtimes are redistributed in the 2.0 **GPU (CUDA)** build under the NVIDIA Software
License Agreement.

## Full license texts

The licence texts of the bundled typefaces, HarfBuzz and zqlite are shipped with
every MedPod GP 3.0 package as the files named above. The complete text of each other
referenced license — the Apache License 2.0, the Health AI Developer Foundations
Terms of Use, LGPL-3.0 / LGPL-2.1, the SQLite public-domain dedication, and the NVIDIA
Software License Agreement — is available from its provider, and copies are included
with the distribution where required by the applicable license. All attributions
above must be retained.
